Winter Sports Photos

What a great start to Winter Sports last week with St Joseph's Primary, Numurkah.  We celebrated the beginning of Reconciliation Week with a Welcome to Country by ASHE (The Academy of Sport, Health and Education) who use participation in sport to undertake education and training within a trusted, culturally appropriate environment, particularly for Indigenous students.  

Following the welcome, students and staff participated in a smoking ceremony before walking together down to Numurkah Recreation Reserve for our version of Reconciliation Round playing Netball and Football.
