Green House wanted to recognise the recent efforts of Green House Alumnus Cameron Ricchini. As we know Cameron and his family have had a challenging time recently.

Cam recently competed in the Australian Age Swimming Championships on the Gold Coast.  He wore a black armband in every race he swum, acknowledging his brother Lachie who had passed away in February. Up against the best in Australia, Cam stepped it up and swum some fast times in his heats, making the finals in 5 individual events. The competition was fierce, making the races and results even more exciting. Cam came home with some huge PB’s, touching the wall in 4th place for the 200m Breaststroke final, 4th in the 400m Individual Medley final and 3rd in the 200m Individual Medley, earning himself a bronze medal as the 3rd fastest 18 year old in Australia.

Cam is continuing his gruelling daily swim/gym training, as he has now qualified to compete at the 2024 Olympic Trials in Brisbane from the 10th - 15th June, in the 3 events mentioned above.

The school would like to recognise Cam’s efforts, and wish him all the best in the future. Well Done Cam!
