Mother’s Day Breakfast - Thursday, 9 May

Last Thursday morning we celebrated Mother’s Day breakfast for mother’s/grandmothers across our College, including members of our staff. Thank you to those that attended this event. It was wonderful to celebrate Mother’s Day here at the College in our Learning Centre. Thank you to Fr Rex (College Chaplain) and Mrs Hughes for the beautiful prayer we shared with our guests, students and staff.

Founder’s Day

Our celebration of Founder’s Day on Friday, 10 May was certainly a highlight of the College year so far. Students, parents and staff began the day with a very respectful celebration of the Eucharist in the College Hall led by our College Chaplain Fr Rex and accompanied by Deacon Adrian. The students then engaged in a variety of food stalls and activities across the College site. It was a wonderful community day for the College. I would like to especially thank Mrs Therese Hughes (Our Dean of Mission) for the overall organisation of the day. Thank you to the many students across Years 7, 11 & 12 for your support and the way you entered into the Spirit of our Founder’s day.

‘Tell Them From Me’ survey

The 2024 survey will take place during this term from Monday, 20 May to Friday, 14 June. Please look out for the survey which will be sent out to parents via compass.

‘Tell Them From Me’ is a suite of surveys for measuring student engagement and wellbeing. The surveys are used to capture student, parent and teacher voices, providing reliable evidence for schools to use in identifying strengths and areas for improvement. I would really appreciate your feedback from this survey.

Thanks so much for your ongoing support of our wonderful College.
