Community Health Reminders
Unfortunately, with the colder weather comes the germs. Over this week we have seen a rise in students arriving at school quite ill with cold and flu symptoms. If you child is unwell, please keep them at home as this will help stop the spread of germs in our community.
At school we are continuing to encourage hand washing and basic hygiene practices to also assist.
Parent Meeting - Reporting at Holy Family
Teachers are currently working hard to put together student's Semester One reports. In light of NSW Curriculum Reform, CSBB has created K-6 Universal Reports that we are mandated to use this year.
We are offering two information sessions to help parents navigate this new report format.
Thursday 13th June
5pm
via TEAMS only - link to come
Friday 14th June
8:40am
In the school library and via Teams - link to come
These information sessions are for all parents K-6 and I look forward to seeing you at one of those sessions.
Attendance Reminders
As the weather gets colder, it can sometimes be hard to get out of a nice warm bed.
It is still important that we ensure our children are up on time and attending school on a daily basis. Students who are constantly late to school often miss important instructions and that time to settle into the day with the rest of their classmates. Have a look at Mrs Overton's great tips on creating a morning routine!
Have a lovely weekend
