Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Today is a wonderful time to reflect on the special place that Our Lady Help of Christians holds in our hearts and in our school community. As the patroness of Australia, Our Lady Help of Christians serves as a powerful symbol of hope, protection, and intercession.

At Holy Family, we strive to incorporate the qualities of Our Lady Help of Christians in our daily lives. Her example of faith, compassion, and trust in God inspires us to foster a nurturing and supportive environment. We encourage our students to turn to Mary in prayer, seeking her guidance and strength. Mary’s intercession has always been a source of comfort and strength for Catholics around the world, and we are blessed to have her as our patroness.

School Musical - "Mermaid Magic and the Climate Crusaders"

I am thrilled to extend a warm invitation to our much-anticipated school musical, "Mermaid Magic and the Climate Crusaders," a unique and enchanting production written by our very own Mrs. McNally. This year’s performance promises to showcase the incredible talent and creativity of our students.

Our students have been working tirelessly under Mrs. McNally, Mrs Nash and the classroom teacher's expert guidance, rehearsing lines, learning songs, and perfecting their moves. The musical is a testament to our school's commitment to fostering a love for the arts and integrating meaningful and real-world issues into our learning. The production involves all students ensuring that the entire school community has a chance to participate.

I encourage all parents and family members to join us and share in the magic of this wonderful performance.

Broken Bay Cross Country Event

This week, five outstanding students represented Holy Family at the Broken Bay Cross Country event held at Gosford. Congratulations to Isabella S., Beatrice M., Eleanor M., Irwin and Rose who demonstrated great determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship to compete against many other students.

A special congratulations to Isabella S. and Rose B. for their exceptional performances! Both students have secured placements, earning them the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Polding Cross Country event. This is a remarkable achievement, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. We wish Isabella and Rose the best of luck as they continue to train for the event!
