Respectful Relationships and Berry Street Program

            Readiness Wellbeing Program

We are excited to introduce our new wellbeing program, "Readiness," aimed at fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for our students. This program focuses on proactively addressing the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of our students in all grades. The program will include a variety of activities, workshops, and resources designed to promote resilience, emotional intelligence, and a positive mindset, ensuring that every student feels prepared and confident to face daily challenges.

As part of the Readiness program, we will be conducting weekly wellbeing surveys with our 4-6 grade students. These surveys will serve as a vital tool in monitoring the wellbeing of our students, allowing us to identify any areas of concern early on. Each survey will be designed to gauge various aspects of the students' emotional and social health, including their levels of stress, happiness, and engagement with school life. By regularly collecting and analysing this data, we can tailor our support strategies to meet the evolving needs of our students, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to flourish.

Calm Club

We are working hard in promoting and supporting  student well-being by implementing the Calm Club program in the library. This initiative, available during the second half of lunch, is specifically designed to offer a peaceful retreat for students seeking a moment of calm amid their busy day. Spearheaded by our enthusiastic grade 6 leaders, the Calm Club provides a variety of different activities, including reading, drawing, and mindfulness exercises. By establishing this program, our school not only addresses the importance of mental health and relaxation in a safe place but also empowers older students to take on leadership roles and foster a supportive community for their peers.
