Student Services: Careers

Welcome to the final Term 3 Careers update. Our Year 12 students have been working hard in their final weeks of coursework, whilst also exploring their plans for 2027. It’s been great to talk to so many of our students about their hopes and plans for the future – what an incredible cohort the Class of 2026 are!
YEAR 12 STUDENTS – COMPLETE APPLICATIONS AND PLANS
Year 12 students have been working in Connect on their VTAC applications, including courses and equity considerations. Students can change their preferences until December 12th 2026, so nothing is finalised when lodging VTAC applications.
Students who are not applying for further study next year (or deferred study) need to book an appointment with Booma to go over their transition plans.
A reminder that students should have completed all elements of course applications and equity by the NHS deadline, end of term 3 (September 18).
YEAR 9 MORRISBY PROGRAM PROFILING DAY
All Year 9 students with consent to participate in the Morrisby program completed their initial profiling assessment on Monday.
Students who were absent or unable to complete the assessment will receive an email from the careers office with instructions on how to complete the assessment.
All students who have completed their assessment by the end of September will undertake an interview with a Careers Practitioner in late October.
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS
A reminder that students can book a Careers Meeting through the Careers channel in their Year Level team. This will take them to the following link: http://calendly.com/burgess-booma/
