💜 Wear It Purple Day 

The library got into the spirit of Wear It Purple Day, an annual national event held on the last Friday of August that celebrates LGBTQIA+ young people and promotes inclusion, acceptance and belonging. 

Students brought their creativity to life by designing and making a colourful collection of Wear It Purple badges. With plenty of bright colours, creative designs and positive messages, students created badges that celebrated being yourself and showing support for others. 

It was fantastic to see students getting creative, sharing their ideas and helping make the library a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. 💜🏳️‍🌈 

🐊 Alligator Clips 

Students got creative in the library with our Alligator Clips craft activity! This fun and colourful activity gave everyone the chance to design and decorate their very own alligator clip, adding their own style, flair and personality. 

From bright colours and funky designs to unique and creative ideas, no two clips were quite the same! Students had plenty of fun experimenting with different decorations and creating something they could proudly call their own. 

It was great to see everyone getting crafty, sharing ideas and showing off their creativity. Who knew alligator clips could be so much fun? 🐊✨
