Young Entrepreneurs Making a Difference
Last year, our Year 5 students embarked on an enriching journey through the ‘How We Organise Ourselves’ unit, developing skills in entrepreneurship, creativity, teamwork, and compassionate action.
As part of this unit, students worked collaboratively to plan, design, create, and reflect, building their own small businesses for our Christmas Fair. Their efforts went beyond just making a profit—they used their skills to make a difference, raising an incredible $1,885.05. This profit will support the incredible work of Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) in supporting communities in need.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to educators Chris Polidano, Rachel Creighton, Atiria Chase, Sherese King, and Chanel Boshoff for their guidance and support throughout this meaningful unit, as well as to our wonderful families. We are incredibly proud of our young changemakers and look forward to seeing them continue to unlock their potential and inspire others through their actions.
