S.P.O.R.T.

Strive Perform Outdo Represent Teamwork

This term has been HUGE for sport.  Our S.P.O.R.T. initiative is going from strength to strength.

We start by shout outs to all those individual and team performances - some of which have felt the glory of winning and others may not have won the gold - who have represented KKHS with great pride and spirit.

We owe how well we are doing in the sporting arena, not only to the players and their school based coaches, but to the external coaches and programs who join us as part of our training sessions.  A big thank you goes to:

And of course, the "T" in S.P.O.R.T. stands for TEAM, so we ensure students understand that teamwork makes a huge difference, both in sport and in broader life.

This term, we have run two team building sessions.

One for Rugby League - with special thanks to the Clontarf Academy for helping to make the day possible - where players had the chance to hear from former NRL club captain Andrew 'Bobcat' Ryan, who spoke about the challenges he faced on his journey to the top and shared valuable advice on setting and achieving goals both in sport and in life.

And the second, we took on the challenge of Treetops, with Stage 4 participants who are a part of S.P.O.R.T. learning to encourage and support one another while at the same time face challenges in order to complete the course.

We thank our generous supporters who have made the S.P.O.R.T. Program possible:
