Principal Reflections

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
National Administrative Professionals' Day
On Wednesday 30th April, we celebrated National Administrative Professionals' Day, also known as Secretaries Day, which fell on 23rd April. This is a day to recognise the professionals who keep our office running smoothly.
While the leadership team takes the lead with school-wide approaches, and teachers take on the responsibility for the day-to-day learning and teaching, it is usually the school administration professionals who are the keepers of the pulse of the entire school.
It's the administration professionals who are at the front line of the school communication - answering phones, greeting visitors, welcoming new families, and scheduling appointments. It's the administrative professionals who maintain school records and dispense sage advice. It's the administrative professionals who are always there with an ice pack or band-aid when a child is hurt, a calm voice when parents call, and a sympathetic ear when teachers are under the pump. And so for all of the above, we are very grateful for our administrative professionals in Angela Sauer, Sue Kellett, Amanda Allen, Hannah Barnes, Robin Wilson, Monika Joubert & Mel Salvestrin.
Thank you, ladies.
Well done Arlo (Year 6)
Arlo Bullock's trip to Seven Hills for the Polding Boys Softball Team Trials was a resounding success! The selectors were thoroughly impressed, and Arlo has rightfully earned a spot on the team. A huge well done to Arlo!
As we start this new term, let's remember the importance of working together.
Partnership – between students, teachers, and families – is key to creating a supportive and successful learning environment for everyone. By collaborating and communicating openly, we can all thrive.
Wishing you all the very best for a productive and enjoyable term!
