School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

Whole-school acknowledgement

This term across the school we have been focusing on our positive behaviour ‘I follow classroom routines’. We have had lots of practice with different routines across the school day, especially our entrance routine at the start of the day. We are proud at the improvements we have seen! We are excited to announce that we have less than 100 stickers to go until we reach our goal of 500! We will keep working hard on this at the start of next term, before we celebrate our efforts with a whole-school celebration that we will finalise in the first week of term 2.

We encourage you to ask your child about the routines they have been working on at school.

This term, we've seen many wonderful examples of Respect, Responsibility, and Courage in action.

  • Respect shines through in the way students support each other in the classroom and the yard - whether it's taking turns playing Beyblades or Gaga Ball, listening to others, or showing kindness in their words and actions.
  • Responsibility has been shown in the way students take ownership of their learning, care for our school environment, and demonstrate leadership every day.
  • Courage has been on display as students step outside their comfort zones—whether it’s trying something new, being an upstander and speaking up for what’s right, or giving their best effort even when things get tricky.

We hope everyone has a great break with plenty of rest and fun!
