Attendance 

Please note some slight changes to our attendance policy: 

These changes ensure the school maintains accurate records of student attendance. We appreciate your support following RPS and NSW DoE Attendance Policies.

Recording Absences:

Day 1: When your child is absent a text message will be automatically generated and sent to the nominated parent at 10am through School Bytes. 

• If your child is late to school, this message may come later in the day. Letting the staff member who collects your child from the gate the reason for being late means they will enter it into the system for you. 
• Please respond by completing your childs absence through School Bytes. 

Day 2: If no response is recorded Miss Leanne will contact you to assist you in completing the absence. 

Day 3:  If the school has not been able to make contact and the absence remains unexplained, a paper absence note will be sent home. Please return this the following day. 

Doctors Certificate: If your child is absent for 3 or more days we ask that a doctors certificate be provided when they return for school records.
