Principal's Message

Book Week and Bedtime Stories Evening
We had a fantastic variety of book week costumes for our annual celebration of reading and books. It was wonderful to have the Gym full of life as our children who were dressed up showed off their designs. A big thank you to our families for putting in such a great effort. It definitely made for an exciting start to the week.
Our Bedtime Stories Evening was also a highlight of the week. The children loved having a story read to them by a variety of teachers across the school. The classrooms were all set up with bean bags and cushions and digital fire places to make for a cosy environment.
Another highlight of the evening was moving around the school in the dark! I had a number of children tell me that it was so much fun moving between classrooms with their torches in their hands.
New Mural
Our newest mural has been completed. A big thankyou to our Parent’s Group for organising and funding our mural artist Shannon to brighten up the dreary concrete ramp on the way to the Gym. The space looks amazing now and really takes your eye as you climb the stairs or use the ramp.
Parent Survey (from the Department of Education)
WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025.
All families are invited to participate in the survey.
