Principal Post

Dear Families,
Today, we farewelled Liz at her funeral and celebrated a life so well lived. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind words, prayers, and support for our school community and for Liz’s family during this time.
Liz was a much-loved staff member at SJV for 35 years so as you can imagine has been a difficult time for many of our staff and families.
Her love for every member of our community was unmatched. Those who knew her will remember her infectious sense of humour, her gift for storytelling, and the joy and laughter she brought to students and staff alike.
It was truly heartwarming to see so many former staff, students, and parents at the funeral—a powerful testament to how deeply loved and respected she was within the our SJV community.
May Miss J rest in peace.
