Your P&C - Fostering cooperation and engagement between parents/carers and school.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

This week, the P&C held our August general meeting, and we were delighted to have Ms. Megan Connors, the Principal of North Sydney Girls HS (and former Principal of James Ruse Agricultural HS for over 13 years), join us as our guest speaker. We appreciate her taking the time to present and share her knowledge on selective education, as well as specific insights about North Sydney Girls HS. We also received our monthly Principal’s report from Mr Jones and a special Treasurer’s update on our P&C budget assumptions for 2026.

In my monthly update, I highlighted that a couple of our P&C committee members holding key positions will be leaving the CPS community due to their children graduating at the end of 2025. It is therefore very important for other parents and carers in the CPS community to join us soon as new committee members. Otherwise, we risk losing a significant portion of what the P&C provides to our students (e.g., the canteen).

Term 3 P&C Events

We have a few exciting activities lined up for the next three Fridays: Father’s Day breakfast next Friday (5th September), Disco Night (12th September), and Canteen Fun Day (19th September). Please refer to the school calendar and event flyers below for more information. Our families and students love these events, so don’t miss out!
