Dear Parents/Guardians,

It’s hard to believe that we are in the middle of Term 3 already. For a short term, we have managed to squeeze lots of extra activities and learning into the first half with many more exciting opportunities to come. Make sure you check the ‘Calendar’ page to see our upcoming events taking place across the school between now and the end of term.

Character Dress up Parade

This week is Book week and today we held our Book Character dress up parade and came together to enjoy activities centred around some of the shortlisted books. It was great to see so many different dress ups.

Hands on Learning Treats

Our HoL Team have been busy cooking and next Thursday they will have treats for sale from the canteen. No orders - students just bring along money if they would like to buysomething.

 House colours Athletic Day

Please note this will now be held on Friday 5th of September. All students from prep to grade 6 participate in this day and come dressed in their house colours. If your child does not  know if they are in Gemini or Saturn please check with their classroom teacher or at the office. More information about this day will be sent out soon.

Parent Opinion Survey Open (18th Aug -19th September)

Invitations with survey links and log in details for the Parent Opinion Survey were emailed to families via XUNO on Monday 18th August. We value your feedback and want to hear what you have to say about our lovely school. Last year we had 36 parents log on- hopefully we can have more again this year.

Raffle Ticket offer - Once again families who complete the survey will enter our raffle as a thank you. To enter, please screen shot or print the screen to show the office you have completed the survey. You will then receive a ticket in the draw to win a $200 RBN  voucher. 2026 Student Numbers

It's that time of year when we begin working through 2026 planning, class structures, staffing and recruitment processes.

As we begin the planning process for 2026, we would appreciate parents notifying the school if your child/ren will not be returning to Rochester Primary School in 2026, as soon as possible.
