Design Technologies
ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP US?
As part of Design Technologies students will be learning about Food & Cooking, Clothing & Textiles, Building & Construction and Technical Advancements.
We don’t have a lot of resources or the capacity to purchase resources.
We are asking if you have any of the following from the list below that you are no longer using or needing and would be willing to donate.
The following donations will help create an ongoing veggie garden at school and to help build our resources for Design technologies.
- Shading/mesh – to cover the veggie garden
- Worm farm
- Composter
- Unwanted garden beds - (like the tin ones that we currently have outside 5EM)
- Unwanted storage containers – medium to large
- Sewing machines – (can be returned – we need several for Term 4)
- Sewing needles and thread
- Crochet hooks
- Knitting needles
- Buttons
- Wood offcuts
- Unused plastic milk crates
- Wooden Pallets
- Old wheels from a wheelbarrow or bicycle
- Pram wheels
- Old plastic seats (like the old classroom seats)
