Subject Selection
Subject Selection season and planning for 2026 is now in full swing. Year 9, 10 and 11 students have been introduced to the subject selection process and it was a privilege to meet with Year 11 students to discuss their progress so far and help plan for Year 12 and life beyond school.
Students and parents are encouraged to read the information in the 2026 Senior Years Course Guide on our college website. It has also been posted on the Compass Newsfeed.
We had a very successful VCE Subject Expo and I would like to thank all Learning Leaders, VCE teachers and VCE students who were present to provide advice about the different VCE subjects available.
Unit 3 & 4 Exams
The VCE Unit 3 & 4 Exam timetable has been released and students have received individual information about Performance and Oral Exams. Performance Exams begin on Monday, 6 October and Written Exams begin on Tuesday, 28 October.
Term 3 is a very busy term finishing content and completing SACs for Unit 4, however, it is important that students have started their exam revision. There are under ten weeks until the VCE Examinations and only five weeks to the trial examinations. By starting to revisit and revise content now, students will find it much easier to remember, use and apply their knowledge and skills and be able to focus on completing practice exams, seeking feedback and improving based upon this feedback.
