Thank you to all families for helping our students to have a strong and engaged start to Term Three. In particular, I’d like to acknowledge the collective effort to get everyone here on time and ready to learn. It’s hard to understate the importance of this!
In a recent policy document the Melbourne Archdiocese noted that ‘consistent and timely attendance is critical for academic achievement and students’ sense of belonging, connection and self-efficacy.
As is clear from the graphic below, all of those minutes, hours and days away add up when it comes to engagement and learning - so thank you again for your hard work (many of us are parents too and we know how tough those mornings can be!).
