Resilience Project

Juniors Fortnightly Recap

This fortnight in the Resilience Project we focused on Gratitude. Gratitude is a core concept and skill taught in the Resilience Project and one that we will come back to throughout term 3. Our Juniors used their understanding of gratitude to identity things in their life that they are grateful/thankful for. We started a gratitude jar, and each week we will aim to put something in the jar that we are grateful for.

Seniors Fortnightly Recap

This week the Seniors were finishing up their compliments project and were able to bring home their personal envelope with class compliments inside. The students have thoroughly enjoyed this project and were super excited to read some of their compliments before the end of the day. The seniors will now also focus on the topic of Gratitude.

Support From Home: At school, we are proud to be using The Resilience Project to help students build important life skills in resilience, gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. These evidence-based lessons support wellbeing and emotional growth in fun and practical ways.

To continue this learning at home, we encourage families to visit http://www.theresilienceproject.com.au/at-home  .The website offers simple activities, videos, and conversation starters you can use together to build a positive and connected home environment that strengthens what we're doing at school.
