Over the coming weeks, our school will be undergoing a series of planned maintenance works to improve and refresh our facilities. These works will include:
While these improvements are taking place, there will be some temporary changes to the way we use our spaces. Certain areas of the school will be unavailable at different times, and students may need to work in alternative spaces such as the library and the art room.
For safety and ease of access, the bike racks will be temporarily relocated to the front of the school during this period.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while these works are carried out. The end result will be a fresher, safer, and more vibrant learning environment for our students, staff, and community.
Father's Day breakfast will be on Thursday 5th September. Fathers and special friends are invited to join students and staff at school from 7.30am to share breakfast and a coffee.
We look forward to seeing as many father's and special friends here as possible!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation. Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies. The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, or the school directly for survey guides in your language. The PCGOS survey link is provided below. The survey link is the same for all schools and campuses, regardless of the PIN approach your school has chosen. https://research.orima.com/parent

On Thursday, 21st August, we had a fantastic day visiting Raywood Primary School to celebrate Book Week together. The students had a blast diving into a variety of fun craft activities inspired by some of this year’s shortlisted books.
A huge thank you to Raywood Primary School for warmly hosting us and treating everyone to a delicious BBQ lunch. And a special shoutout to Mrs. Gentry—your enthusiasm for books and fun is truly infectious and made the day extra memorable!
Please remember to get lunch orders in to the school or the bakery by Thursday. This provides the bakery with enough time to make sure they have everything they need to fill the orders.
A Friendly Reminder About Photographing and Filming at School Events
With so many exciting events happening at our school lately, we know parents and families love capturing those special moments on camera! Whether it’s sporting days, performances, or other fun activities, it’s wonderful to see everyone celebrating together.
We do want to kindly remind everyone to be mindful when photographing or filming students — including your own children and others. While it’s great to keep memories, it’s important to respect the privacy of all students and families.
Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:
Check in with the school if you’re unsure about any photography or filming guidelines.
Our school has policies in place to help protect everyone’s privacy and ensure events are safe and enjoyable for all. By following these friendly reminders, we can work together to create a positive environment where every family feels comfortable.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support — and keep enjoying all the wonderful moments ahead!
