Awards Night 2025

We’re excited to announce that Balmoral State High School’s Annual Awards Night will be held on Wednesday, 15 October 2025. This special evening celebrates the achievements and successes of our students across academics, leadership, sport, and the arts.

 

The P&C will be hosting a cash bar and food available from earlier in the night. We encourage families and friends to come along early, enjoy the evening, and support our wonderful school community.

 

Bookings are essential via TryBooking — invitations will be sent out to families in the coming weeks.

Calling all teens! Join us on Thursday, 9th October, 5:00–6:30pm at Balmoral State High School for an evening dedicated to you. 

 

Chat with a school-based health nurse, adolescent psychologist, and other experts on everything teen-related.

 

🍔 Free BBQ from 5:00pm – come early, grab some food, and hang out!

 

Bring your questions, get the answers, and connect with people who understand what it’s like to be a teen. Don’t miss out – it’s all free and designed just for you!

Host a Japanese Student in 2025!

We're excited to welcome students from Hiroshima Secondary School as part of our short-term Homestay Program at Balmoral SHS. Help create an unforgettable Aussie experience for our visiting students! 💚🌸

TRP (Online)

The Resilience Project is committed to teaching positive mental health strategies to prevent mental ill health and build young people’s capacity to deal with adversity. 

 

We’re proud to be implementing TRP’s evidence-based whole school wellbeing program to support positive mental health in the classroom, staffroom and wider community. Students will engage in weekly lessons to understand and strengthen their practice of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy, with regular opportunity for parent/carer involvement.
