Malvern Food Emergency Program
The Malvern Emergency Food Program (MEFP) is delighted to have received a large collection of food items from St Joseph’s Primary.
We attended at a recent Friday assembly to collect the donation and to give our thanks.
We were met and welcomed by Year 6 students, Bridget, Lucy and Callum who were presiding over the assembly. The initial prayer and Acknowledgement of Country were moving, as was the hearty Happy Birthday rendition sung in Italian to those students celebrating birthdays.
MEFP wishes to thank all students and families for donating, the student leaders who were responsible for encouraging their classmates, teachers and staff who had an added workload, and particularly Siobhan O’Dwyer for her liaison and organisation.
Your support of the Malvern Emergency Food Program, a local charity, is greatly appreciated.
Sincere thanks to the whole St Joseph’s Primary School community.
Regards, Trish Woodman, MEFP Schools Coordinator
