Junior School Council News

The Junior School Council has done it again! We have had a fabulous Crazy Hair Day today to raise money for the Ballarat Animal Shelter. All cash donations will go towards extra vet care for the animals. We raised $3 and have had some generous donations of food, towels and blankets to send to the shelter.

Check out some of our creative hairstyles below!

Next term we will be partnering up with the Reverse Advent Calendar for Schools Program.

What is a Reverse Advent Calendar?

Instead of receiving treats, families give! For 20 days in December, participants fill a box with non-perishable food or toiletries. Once full, the boxes are donated to local food relief agencies, bringing practical help and hope to those doing it tough.

Why Participate?

The 2024 CSIRO National Food Insecurity Report found that nearly one-third of Australian households experienced moderate to severe food insecurity in the past year. Local food relief agencies are working tirelessly to support vulnerable families—and your school can make a real difference.
