Staying Supported and Active This Summer

Seasonal greetings to all our wonderful families! As we approach the end of the school year, I hope this summer holiday period provides you with a well-deserved opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

While the holidays are a time for fun, we understand that families may sometimes need extra support or activities to keep young people engaged. To assist you over the break, we have compiled a list of essential mental health resources and local activities available in our community.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Support

If you or your child require immediate mental health or crisis support during the school holidays, the following services are available to help:

Wyndham Youth Services: Holiday Programs

Wyndham City offers fantastic programs to keep students active and connected during the summer:

  • Holiday Action: Bookings are now open for various excursions and activities. You can book your spot via the Wyndham Holiday Action page.

  • Summer Engagement Programs: There are also several free programs available. View the full list on the Youth Services Holiday Activities page.

  • Food Relief & Drop-in Services: Wyndham Youth Services locations remain open throughout the holiday period (closed only on public holidays) for food relief and other essential services.

On behalf of the staff at Truganina P-9 College, we wish you a safe, happy, and healthy summer break. We look forward to seeing all our students back for a bright start to 2026!
