ICAS and AMC Update

In August this year a number of our students in years 2-9 participated in the world-renowned ICAS assessments and Australian Maths Competition (AMC). Both are optional academic competitions designed to challenge higher order thinking and problem solving skills. While the AMC has a sole focus on Mathematics, the ICAS offers English, Writing, Spelling and Mathematics assessments.

We would like to congratulate the following students who achieved outstanding results in either the ICAS assessments or AMC this year!

Whether your child received a Participation, Proficiency, Merit, Credit, Distinction, or High Distinction result, we extend a huge congratulations to all students who took part this year. Engaging in academic assessments like these provides valuable opportunities for students to challenge themselves and grow. The reverse side of each certificate also includes detailed information about the question types and areas for further development, helping students understand their next steps for continued improvement.

Once again, well done to all 2025 ICAS and AMC participants.
