A Message from the Principal
Mrs Pauline Long
Dear Parents and Carers,
Congratulations to Dani, Ryder & Andy for your participation in the recent Polding Athletics carnival. I know that you each gave 100% effort and although you didn’t win, you represented our school and diocese with pride.
Representative sport provides a safe environment for students to learn crucial life lessons. Learning to win and to lose with grace and humility is a key takeaway. When they win, students learn the value of hard work and teamwork. When they lose, they develop resilience, learn to handle disappointment, and understand that success isn't always guaranteed. These experiences teach them to bounce back from setbacks, a skill that's invaluable in all areas of life.
I encourage ALL parents/carers to make the time to attend the 3 Way Learning Conferences all teachers are offering over the next two weeks. The focus of these meetings is student goal setting. It is not too late to book a meeting via COMPASS.
Please follow these instructions to book your interview time with your child's teacher:
Bookings are made more easily from a device other than a phone. If you are having trouble making a booking, please call Kate in the front office and she will be able to help you.
I look forward to catching up with our parents & friends this Thursday evening at 6.00pm at the Imperial Hotel. Thank you to the PT & F for organising this fun event.
Have a wonderful week
Pauline Long
