Hoop Time

To end our year in sport, our 5/6 All Stars basketball team participated in the State Hoop Time finals on Tuesday the 3rd of December. The team had an outstanding day, winning 2 of their 4 pool games against very tough competition. They made the semi-finals and were defeated by the smallest of margins – 1 point. 

Thousands of teams across Victoria enter Hoop Time each year. Of those, 655 were in the 5/6 All Stars category. Rolling Hills finished in the top 8! This is a phenomenal achievement, and we are so proud of you all! A huge congratulations to Mr. V and the team – Alexa, Brodie, Cody, Evan, Harvey, Hudson, Mitchell, Ryder and Tyson!

As we head towards the end of the year, I would like to thank the many wonderful volunteers we have had throughout the year: parents, siblings, grandparents and friends. From coaching, umpiring, scoring, supervising, and transporting students to and from events, we would not have been able to enter so many teams across the number of events and sports that we have. We love our sport at Rolling Hills and have enjoyed great success again this year; none of which would be possible without all your help. The generosity of your time is greatly appreciated!
