Principal Report
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the final newsletter of the year. We hope you have had a great 2024 and we look forward to seeing everyone back safe and well rested after the summer break.
I would like to share a big thank you to the families in grade 6 who are departing, as well as families and children in other year levels who are moving on to other adventures.
Thank you to those staff leaving for other settings. Your care and professionalism over the year has been appreciated.
Our grade 6 celebration was an upbeat and positive experience for families, and I want to take this chance to wish all out grade 6 students the very best experience at high school and beyond.
Thank you to all our staff, volunteers, families and students who have contributed to a very successful 2024. We appreciate you......and after a short break, we are looking forward to 2025.
This week we have a fun end of year for our students and will post out each day in the daily news what is happening the following day.
Our final assembly will be on Friday at 12:30pm on the Quad, where our students in grades 34 and 56 will perform their STOMP dances. We have leadership handovers and of course a grade 6 final farewell. We hope you they can locate something at home with a Hip-Hop theme to wear without the need to buy anything new for this. One less trip to a shopping centre is a Christmas gift to yourself ; )
The recent Carols and Art Show seemed to be a hit with families based on feedback, as well as the food and drink options organised by the Parents and Friends group. Thank you to everyone for making that night happen.
There will be some building works over the summer for those that do visit the grounds. Please let us know if you spot anything that is out of the ordinary, we are short drive, facebook message or call away from being able to investigate.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thanks,
Craig
