F/1/2 CLASSROOM

What an incredible beginning to the year we have had in F/1/2! Each student is demonstrating fantastic independence and learning stamina as they embrace new challenges with enthusiasm each day.
A highlight has been the engaging, hands-on learning experiences in our structured, low-variance Maths lessons. These activities are thoughtfully designed to reinforce key concepts and provide students with a strong foundation in their learning. It has been wonderful to see students transitioning smoothly into small group work and rotations, making the most of these collaborative learning opportunities.
Our students have also responded beautifully to the introduction of our Prayer units. They are developing an understanding of the symbols on our prayer table and deepening their appreciation for God’s creation, recognizing the many blessings we can be grateful for. Student enjoyed walking through Our School grounds taking photo’s of Gods Creations. Yes, we allowed the picture of Mary McKillop as the students stated, “God made her to teach us good things”, who can argue with that!
Families are reminded to refer to the timetable sent home last week for scheduled activities and to regularly check our Facebook page and the SIMON calendar for any updates or changes.
A heartfelt thank you to all families who participated in Learning Conversations. These discussions provide valuable insights into each child’s goals and achievements, strengthening the partnership between home and school.
It is truly an exciting time to be part of this vibrant and caring school community, and we look forward to many more special learning moments ahead!
