YLT 2025

PCYC Queensland Youth Leadership Teams (YLT) are a social and leadership development group for high school aged young people who wish to improve their leadership skills and to give back to and connect with their communities. YLTs meet regularly within the clubs, volunteer their time and establish and drive their own projects within the community.

YLT is for young people aged 13-18 years. We meet on a Monday 5:00 pm for approximately 45 minutes. This will include snacks, team building activities and to set some targets/goals for things you might like to achieve (e.g. plan fundraising BBQ to raise funds for end of term activity – then organise and run the BBQ under supervision).

Drop In Games

Drop In Table/Board Games is held every Monday from 5:45 pm until 7:00 pm. Come along to play Uno, Pictionary, Charades and Chess, just to name a few. Snacks will also be available.

Boxing After Dark

As the name suggests the program is a Boxing Skills/Drills/Fitness based activity (without sparring) and runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm until 7:15 pm. The program consists of a 40-45 minute fitness session followed by some food and a Yarn. Boxing After Dark targets young people aged 13-18 years and program requires a signed permission form from a parent/guardian to participate.
