What an incredible week it has been as we cherish these final moments with our wonderful Preps. It's hard to believe that next week marks the end of an amazing year together!
The students have truly impressed us with their resilience and enthusiasm during swimming sessions. From getting ready and learning new skills in the pool to managing the tricky task of getting dressed afterward, their independence has blossomed. A heartfelt thank you to all parents for your support in preparing your child for swimming. A special shout-out goes to Hannah, Kaylie, Janet, Michelle, Tia, and Tina for generously giving their time to assist at the pool — your help has been invaluable!
We also had an unforgettable time at the school carols. Watching the Preps confidently perform all three dances with big smiles on their faces was a joy to behold. We hope you and your family enjoyed the evening as much as we did!
Amidst all the excitement, our learning adventures have continued. In Maths, the students have been exploring money through our MEGA Kidan's Creation Station activity. Armed with $20.00 each, they enthusiastically purchased recycled materials and let their creativity run wild, repurposing and redesigning items in imaginative ways. The joy and innovation they displayed were inspiring!
In Literacy, we’ve had fun with whiteboard spelling activities and blended Christmas-themed word searches and fine motor tasks into our daily routines. The Preps have been loving the festive spirit while continuing to develop their skills.
It may not be our final newsletter yet, but we want to express our deepest gratitude for your support and partnership throughout 2024. We are so proud of the growth and achievements of every child and are thrilled to see their excitement as they transition to their new classes for Year 1/2. If you have any questions about their new teachers or classes, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
