Term 4 saw some great sporting success!
We had representatives from Poppy Nivarovich, and Evan Bainbridge at individual events at the SSV State Athletics. With Evan taking home 1st place in the Boys 15yr Hurdles, well done Evan!
We also had the BHS students at State Athletics represent BHS in the 18-20yr 100m Relay, awesome stuff Harriet Fox, Lucy Russell, Hannah Conron and Lily Clifton.
Term 4 saw us finish off the Geelong Division Sports in the Intermediate and Junior age groups. We had teams for Boys and Girls in Cricket, Basketball, Table Tennis, Softball, Baseball and Tennis. With Year 7 Boys and Year 8 Boys Cricket progressing to the Western Metro Round (WMR), as well as the Year 7 and 8 Baseball teams and the Year 7 Boys Table Tennis team also with progression to further rounds.
Our other WMR representative was the Year 7 Boys Volleyball Team. With so many Junior School successes in school sport, the future is bright at BHS.
BHS was also proudly represented at multiple State Finals in Term 4, these include the Senior Boys Cricket State Final, the Inter Boys Hockey State Final, and the Year 8 Boys Cricket State Finals. Thank you to all the students and staff that were able to make that happen and made the school proud.
Thanks to all that were able to help in making the 2024 school sports so successful, we look forward to similar successes in 2025 and beyond.
