Denise's Message

Welcome Back
Welcome back to the 2025 School Year, and a special welcome to all our Prep families and other families that are joining us in Years 1-6. We look forward to working closely with you throughout your time here and enjoying many wonderful times celebrating your child's growth. I hope this newsletter finds you well-rested, re-energized, happy, and healthy, having enjoyed a break, and having shared good times with family and friends.
I hope that any family members who have been unwell over the holidays or recovering from any injuries return healthy in mind, body, and spirit.
Lunar New Year
I wish all families a very happy Lunar New Year. May your celebrations with families and friends bring you many fun and happy times. This is the Year of the Snake. It is said that people born in the Year of the Snake are charming and good thinkers. They love the finer things in life, so only the best is good enough, and they are good at making and saving money. They are also said to be patient, charming and wise, preferring not to rely on other people. Does that describe you if you are born in the Snake year?
Return to School
All Prep - Year 6 children return to normal classes on Monday 3rd February. Children must arrive by 8.45am ready to line up for our Monday morning assembly. Families are more than welcome to join us for this assembly. Our school day ends at 3.25pm, and a teacher remains on duty until 3.40pm; please ensure your children are collected by 3.40pm, or they will need to attend the after-school care program.
When parking around the school, I ask that you please be mindful, patient, and courteous with each other, and I encourage families who can walk to school or park a block or two away to do so.
At no time can families park or stop on or near the School Crossing. We are all responsible for keeping our children safe near the roads around our school.
School Uniform
All children are expected to be in their full school uniform on Monday, including black school shoes and school hats.
Our Uniform Shop will be open on Tuesday 4th February from 2.30pm if you require any school uniform items.

Please assist us in improving our school by completing this short survey which you will receive, with QR code access early next week.
