Kitchen Garden Working Bee
Welcome to the school year and I am happy to say that we are getting our green thumbs back in action!
Please put the 30th March 9:00am - 12:00pm in your diary for a Kitchen Garden Working Bee. CHS will supply the coffee and all you need to do is bring yourself, a pair of gloves and any shovels or small hand tools.
Our aim for the day is to get our winter polytunnel up and ready for students to get planting (topping up the gardens with soil), working on the chicken enclosure to fox proof and bring our chickens back to CHS and general cleaning and maintaining the space with some mulch.
Working bees are a great way to meet other parents and staff, with students are more than welcome to attend. If you have any further concerns or requiring more information please do not hesitate to contact me via email on anna.vella@coburg.vic.edu.au

Youth Ambassador Program
Youth Ambassadors has allowed me to connect with my community and the people running it in a way I didn’t think was possible in high school. It’s encouraged me to understand what happens in council and allowed me to make real change. The staff are incredibly supportive and assist you through the whole process which lets you focus more on enacting programs that will help people in the community.
