Introducing our School Captains for 2025: 

Hasti, Joshua, Sienna, &Clifford. 

Hi, I’m Hasti Momeni, and I’m super excited to be one of the School Captains this year! I’m passionate about science and hope to pursue it in the future. I love to read as it’s my way of exploring new ideas and perspectives. As School Captain, I aim to advocate for all students, bring our school community closer together, and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and supported. Being School Captain has been a dream of mine since primary school, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity to make this year memorable for all of us.

Hi everyone, I'm Joshua, one of your school captains this year and I'm honoured to be working alongside three of the best Y12s I know! Through to Year 12, I've been passionate about Student Voice and Agency, and it has truly been a joy to come together with others who share the passion in an attempt to effect important positive change throughout our school. I've been at the school since Y7, a year our cohort spent almost entirely in lockdown which may come as a surprise to some of the younger year levels, but despite that, I feel very blessed to say that I've formed some beautiful relationships that I'm sure will last our lifetimes. A bit on myself: jazz and music generally is LIFE for me, I love maths and physics, I'm a little addicted to chess, but above all else my favourite thing to do is spend time with the people I love. For any students reading this, PLEASE come up to me at anytime for any concerns you have, any ideas for the school or just to have a chat if you feel like it.

Coburg High is an astonishing school that I have had the privilege of studying at since Year 7, and now that I have become part of the School Captain team, I can't wait to make it better for the future years to come. This school has students and teachers that go above and beyond and I hope that I can match the amount of passion and dedication. I can't wait to help the school in becoming the best it can be with my fellow School Captains.

My name is Clifford, I have been at this school since year seven and I have loved every year. I have a pet dog and two brothers, and I enjoy playing basketball on the weekends with my friends. My favourite classes are chemistry and physics.
