This Week At OOPS

Thank You

Students created this incredible "Love Bomb" to thank staff for our recent fete.  What a beautiful gesture and a great way to brighten up the corridor!

This term the Year 4 students have been looking at repurposing fabric and plastic to help reduce landfill. After receiving donations from the school, students used the engineering design process to create something new. Students learnt how to sew, stick, braid and knot fabric to create useful objects they can use. All students did a brilliant job and a wide range of different items were made.

Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s public speaking competition! Your speeches and confidence on stage were remarkable.

We also want to applaud every participant who stepped up with courage, gave it their best, and shared their unique experiences and perspectives. You should be SO proud!

Participating in the public speaking competition helps students build confidence, improve their communication skills, and gain valuable experience in expressing their ideas.

We hope to see even more participants step up and share their voices next year!

Prep Breakfast

This morning our Prep students came to school bright and early for a special breakfast with their friends and teachers.  There were some very excited students, and everyone enjoyed cereal, toast, juice and delicious fruit platters on their specially designed place mats.  Thank you so much to our parent helpers Astari, Nicole and Jess for helping to serve breakfast and clean up - we really appreciate you!
