Selamat Siang,
Wow, I can’t believe we are getting close to the end of Term 4! This week in the Leadership Centre, we had an exciting opportunity to celebrate the end of the year with many events occurring over the past week.
On Monday, we had Year 6 Graduation, which was a bitter-sweet event, as we know that our time with the Year 6 students is starting to draw to a close. It was great to see all the students present their speeches and sing the final song in front of a gigantic audience. Their hard work over the course of the term in preparing for the special night was evident in the polished performances from all students! A massive thank you to all members of the community that came in the evening and made it a very special night to remember.
On Thursday, the Year 5 and 6 students had their celebration days! Year 5 students attended the cinema to watch Moana 2. The Year 6 students went bowling and played laser tag at Forest Hill. From all accounts, it was an epic day and a nice way to celebrate the close of the year. For more information, please feel free to ask your students!
Next week on Monday we will be having step up week, so students can meet their new classes and teachers. This will be an exciting time, and for current Year 6 students, we have organised a Year 7 program at school to help prepare them for the coming year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your classroom teacher!
A big thank you to all the families who helped make our morning tea so special. The Year 6's absolutely loved it and ate up nearly everything! We appreciate your contribution for the day.
