Specialist Feature News: Visual Arts

Selamat Siang, 

What a creative and fun time we've had in Visual Arts! 

Junior School students have been developing their sketching skills with self-portraits and full-body drawings. They've also enjoyed exploring acrylic and watercolour painting, using the rainbow as inspiration!

The Year 3/4 students had a fantastic time creating animal sculptures with clay. From drafting to glazing, they showed great creativity and skill. We also started to explore modern artist, Jen Stark, and he unique drip art style!

The Year 5/6 students completed their textile unit, making their own graduation bears. Each one was unique, reflecting their personalities and creative flair. These were proudly presented at graduation! The 5/6s have been working on their Posca portrait unit, presenting something that brings them joy!

It’s been a fun, messy, and inspiring few years in Visual Arts! 

Thank you to all our students for their hard work , our incredible ES for their help and guidance during the sessions and our community and families for your support. 

Looking forward to another creative year ahead in Specialist classes!
