Stall volunteers needed!

We’re calling on all members of the Kilvington community to consider volunteering in some capacity—every little bit makes a difference, and many hands make light work!

Working on a stall at the Fair is super fun! Not only do you get to know your fellow stall volunteers, but you also get to interact with the wider community and know that you've contributed to a wonderful occasion.

There are so many options to volunteer and your stall coordinator/s will guide you on what to do and be there if you need any help.

Click here to sign up for a role that suits you on the day. All help is very much appreciated.

Join us for a Jam and Relish-Making Day!

Parents, carers, and extended family are invited to a fun morning of cookingjam, relish, and chutney for the 2025 Kilvington Fair on Sunday, 23 February 2025, from 9.00am to 1.00pm in the Food Technology Rooms.

You can sign up here.

Senior School students in Years 8 to 12 are also welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by a parent. This is a wonderful opportunity to swap recipes and tips while creating delicious products for sale on Fair day.

What to bring:

  • Your favorite recipe and ingredients
  • Jars (if you have them)

Please email your product name and ingredient list to Bianca at lapinsb@kilvington.vic.edu.au so she can prepare labels for the jars.

Can’t attend but still want to help?

If you have ripe fruit, vegetables, sugar, or clean glass jars (labels removed) to contribute, please drop them off in the labelled box at Main Reception by Friday, 21 February.

Thank you in advance for your support—we look forward to cooking together!

Crafting group catch-ups

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas pop-up stall last year—we raised over $800! What a wonderful way to end 2024!

As we gear up for the 2025 Kilvington Fair in late March, our craft catch-ups this term will focus on making items for the Craft Stall. We'll have mini-projects you can complete in a session, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Upcoming catch-ups:

  • Sunday, 9 Feb, 1.00 – 4.00pm
  • Thursday, 13 Feb, 7.00 – 9.30pm
  • Wednesday, 5 March, 7.00 – 9.30pm
  • Wednesday, 12 March, 7.00 – 9.30pm

We’re alsogratefully accepting handmade item donations for the Craft Stall. If you or someone in your network would like to contribute, please let me know what you’d like to make and donate.

For any questions or to get involved, feel free to contact Eleri Stephens atelerim@gmail.com. Looking forward to another fantastic year of crafting together!

Request for donations - Secondhand books, boardgames and puzzles (no toys)

We’re collecting secondhand books, board games, and puzzles in excellent condition for the Kilvington Fair!

Please start setting aside any items you’d like to donate. Drop-offs to Dalton Hall will be accepted from Monday, 10 February. Items can be brought in bags or boxes—please avoid loose items to keep everything protected.

To ensure quality, kindly check that all donations are complete and in great condition. Thank you for your support!

Request for donations - Chocolate Toss Stall

We'll be collecting donations from across the School to ensure our Chocolate Toss stall is buzzing at the Fair.

To help bring the magic to life, please keep an eye out for chocolate sales at the grocery store. We'd greatly appreciate donations of single chocolate bars, blocks of chocolate, fun-size bags, or large boxes like Cadbury Favourites.

Donations can be dropped off at Main School or Junior School Reception from Monday, 3 March. Thank you!

Request for donations - Wine Bingo

Wine Bingo is always a hit with the adults, so let’s make this year’s event even better with your generous donations of bottles of wine—red, white, sparkling, or your favorite!

Wine donations can be dropped off by parents or adult carers at either Junior School or Main School Reception starting Monday, 24 February.

To make it easier for parents dropping off at Kiss and Go, we’ll have volunteers available to assist with taking donations from cars on Wednesday, 26 February and Friday, 28 February.

Thank you so much for contributing to this fabulous event!
