Welcome back to School

Welcome back to Kilvington for a sizzling start to 2025!

With the sun shining, Barring-buluk doors wide open, and the new Junior School playground buzzing with laughter, it’s clear that the school year is off to an exciting start. We hope your children have settled in well, and that you, as parents and carers, are just as excited for the year ahead!

At the PFA, our focus is on building new relationships and strengthening those already in place within the Kilvington community. We know that starting a new year—or even a new school—can feel overwhelming. Making connections isn’t always easy, especially as students get older and ‘play dates’ become a thing of the past.

To help, we’ve gathered all the ways you can connect with our community on our website. Our biggest event this year is the Kilvington Fair—a fantastic opportunity to have fun, meet other families, and contribute to our vibrant school community.

We’re looking forward to another successful year filled with chances to connect, make memories, and enjoy these precious years with our children—because they truly do grow up fast! Get involved, stay connected, and make the most of it!

CSRs

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to be a Class Social Representative (CSR) for their cohort this year! The first CSR meeting will be held on Wednesday, 26 February in the Staff Lounge from 7.30 to 8.30pm.

There are still spaces available for some year levels, so if you'd like to join the CSR team, please sign up here. We encourage more than one CSR per year level – the more the merrier!

The QR codes to join the WhatsApp chats for each year level can be found on the PFA website. Please note, the names of the 2025 CSRs will be updated in mid-February.

Secondhand Uniform Shop (SHUS)

A huge thank you to the amazing SHUS team for the success of our first opening last weekend! The next SHUS will be on Saturday, 29 March from 9.00 to 11.00am in Dalton Hall.

We're looking for new volunteers to help out! If you have some time free on a Saturday morning, or would like to know more, please contact Nadine Power via npower1616@gmail.com. The team is extremely knowledgeable, and you’ll enjoy plenty of laughs and friendships along the way.
