Principal's Report

Many thanks to those families who joined us today for our whole school performance of 'Play and Sing'. I know you will join me in congratulating Emily and students on this fantastic display of student learning.
Our final swim day is scheduled for tomorrow. Many thanks again to Steph for all her organisation and to Bron, Chris, Callum, Kai and Krista for their support in the delivery of swimming lessons. Once again, our students have had a great experience, and we really appreciate the efforts made to provide our students with this opportunity.
Next Tuesday, the 10th December, is the statewide transition day. On this day, all students will spend the day with their 2025 teacher, class and classroom. We will also be joined by students transitioning into Prep, while the current Year 6 students will spend the day completing transition activities at the Secondary College. To begin the day, we will all meet in the undercover area. From there, students will be organised into their new classes.
On Thursday, the 12th December, the choir will be performing some carols for the residents at Kiewa Valley House. The following Thursday, 19th December, students from the choir and Spookie Ukies have been invited to perform at the annual 'Carols by Candlelight'. Thank you to those families who have returned their expression of interest for this event. If you haven't already done so, please ensure this form is returned by Monday 9th December.
With the end of term rapidly approaching, we have some key events coming up, to which we would like to invite all families.
On Friday 13th December, at 9am, we will hold our final assembly for the year. This will include the presentation of student awards and general acknowledgements, followed by a parent and volunteer morning tea.
On Thursday 19th of December, at 11am, we will hold our Year 6 graduation. Families are invited to join us in celebrating this very special occasion, which will be held in the multipurpose building.
Wanted: Donations of new and used Rubik's Cubes to help support our Rubik's Cube Club.
