All Saints' Vision and Mission (draft)

This term staff at All Saints' have been working hard to develop a new Vision and Mission statement. With the release of Bishop Edwards Catholic Education Charter (Diocese of Wagga Wagga), the need arose for our mission statement to align with this new document. You will see that the mission statement is organised into four pillars welcome, faith, communities of service and communities of learning. This is in direct alignment with the Bishop's Education Charter.

We value the feedback and input from the parent body. If you would like to give feedback on this draft, this link will take you to a simple Google form asking for any feedback on the statement. Please see the draft below.

VISION

"At All Saints' Primary School, we aspire for our students to graduate as compassionate, empowered individuals deeply committed to Catholic values. Equipped with a strong academic foundation and guided by respect, justice, and mercy, they will be optimistic and empathetic contributors to our local and global communities, carrying the light of Jesus as beacons of hope and positive change."

MISSION

Welcome

We invite children and their families to collaborate closely with our school and parish community, striving together to ensure the optimal development and success of the children, guided by the principles of Mark 9:37

"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. Mk9:37

Faith

We aim to nurture and deepen the faith within our community, fostering a profound connection with the divine. We aspire to be a beacon of faith, inspiring individuals to explore their spiritual journey, find solace in their beliefs, and engage in acts of service. With faith as our guiding light, we journey together towards a compassionate future."

‘Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith’. James 2:18

Community of Service

"We are a 'Community of Service,' inspired by Jesus' words. Our mission is clear,  to lead with humility, support our parish, school, and wider community, and embody the spirit of selfless service. As committed leaders, we strive to reflect Jesus' love through our actions, fostering unity, compassion, and positive change."

'I came to serve, not to be served.' Matthew 20:28

Community of Learning

We are dedicated to excellence in education, deeply rooted in Catholic values and vision. We foster an environment that inspires every student to be confident and enthusiastic about learning. We are committed to teaching skills that enable our students to become capable and compassionate members of our community. Through our unwavering commitment to both academic and moral growth, we aim to empower the leaders of tomorrow who will embody our Catholic values and make a positive impact on the world."
