From the Principal's Desk

15th September 2023

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

As we approach the end of Term 3 here at All Saints', it is a pleasure to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments and events that have unfolded during this term. I am delighted to share some highlights from our school community as we wrap up this term.

The K/1 assembly last week was a delightful showcase of our youngest learners' talents and creativity. With bright smiles and eager hearts, the Kindergarten and Year 1 students from class K/1TM took the stage to enchant our audience. They not only charmed us with their sweet renditions on the glockenspiel, displaying their musical prowess, but also opened a window into their artistic souls by sharing their beautifully crafted artworks. It was truly heartwarming to witness these budding talents shine as they confidently presented their musical talents and artistic expressions, leaving us all in awe of their potential.

This week, our Year 2 and Year 3 students from class 2/3L showcased their talents during their assembly. They celebrated their learning journey, highlighting the significant achievements and milestones they've reached this term. It's incredible to witness their growth and enthusiasm for education.

We have introduced a refreshed newsletter format, aimed at improving communication between the school and our families. We hope you find the new layout informative and engaging. Your feedback on this new format is greatly appreciated as we strive to keep you well-informed.

The school staff have been working diligently on crafting a new Vision and Mission Statement that will guide our future endeavours. This draft reflects our shared values and aspirations. I encourage your continued feedback as we move towards finalising these guiding principles in the coming months.

It is with great pride that I announce the outstanding achievement of our students from class 4/5/6G, who secured a remarkable second place at the Choral Speaking competition during the Wagga Wagga Eisteddfod. Their dedication and teamwork paid off, and their performance left a lasting impression on judges and spectators alike. I commend our students and Mrs. Green for this impressive accomplishment.

Before we break for the term, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Thomsen for her unwavering commitment to the 2024 Kindergarten Transition Program. Her dedication to ensuring a smooth transition for our incoming Kindergarten students has been exemplary. Mrs. Thomsen's passion for early childhood education is truly remarkable and sets the tone for a positive start to our youngest learners' educational journey.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to the start of Term 4 and the exciting opportunities it will bring.

God bless,

Daniel Francis
