Three of our students, Amalie Bell, Harry Scott and Bella Henderson and have been chosen to take part in Defying the Drift at Longerenong College during the September holidays.
They will learn new skills and visit a range of rural enterprises. All three students have a genuine interest in Agriculture and related industries. Their applications have been supported by local Rotary Clubs and are very grateful to have been chosen for this experience.
Accounting Week
The Accounting Week Work Experience program was also held week, with three Year 10 students successfully applying to do placements at various Swan Hill Accounting firms. We are very grateful for the ongoing commitment from these businesses and Murray Mallee LLEN to ensure this successful program is delivered each year.
ACU VCE Online Revision Workshops
Students studying one of these Year 12 subjects can take part in free online revision workshops during the school holidays.
English and EAL, Physical Education Health and Human Development Biology,
General Maths Math Methods Business Management
During these workshops, students will be guided through Unit 4 revision as well as receive advice for upcoming exams. Please register at acu.edu.au/y12workshops

There will also be campus tours during the September school holidays. Students can bring their parents or friends to explore the Hawthorn campus with one of our friendly student ambassadors. Register through their website swinburne.edu.au
Led by knowledgeable and friendly current Deakin students, the small group tours are a great way for students and their families to see the excellent facilities and learning spaces, and ask questions about the courses that interest them.
These tours are another opportunity to explore what Deakin's campuses have to offer across a wide range of study areas.
