Staff PD Practices

Throughout the year, staff have completed a variety of professional development activities. They have ranged from different ways to support students with their learning and behaviour, to how to improve learning in subject specific areas. Other areas of professional learning have included taxation practices, AEU training and first aid.

On professional learning days, teaching staff have completed PD that focuses on school priorities such as the Instructional Model and School Wide Behaviour Support. 

During Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings teaching staff have learnt new skills and shared their knowledge in areas of how to begin a lesson, how to incorporate a range of activities that review lesson content, teaching students how to give feedback and different methods of how to conclude a lesson.
