Catholic Identity

St Roch’s Social Justice Initiative: ‘Mini Vinnies: Winter Appeal’!

Our Year 5 and 6 ‘Mini Vinnies’ have been busy preparing for our Term 2 ‘Winter Appeal’. There are a significant number of homeless people in Australia and the Year 5/6 students explored why this is happening and what we can do about it. As part of our Catholic Identity, Years 5/6 have organised an appeal to help those who are homeless with warm clothes over this winter. Please look out for information regarding this and how your family can make a difference for someone in need!

Term 2 Events to Note:

• Wednesday 11 June: Year 4 Retreat Day 
• Sunday 15 June: Year 4 First Communion @ 12.00pm
• Year 5/6 Mini Vinnies ‘Winter Appeal’.
