Principal for the day

On the 18th of June . Ms Reanna, Ms. Angie and 5/6 students ( Malek, Tyler, Omar, Nader and Mason) were able to 'fill in ' for our principals as they were on a conference.

Our morning started by getting to work on time ready for the day. We set up in Mrs.Figen's office and created a brainstorm of things we would like to change or improve at MPS. We had a quick meeting with the office staff and got our laptops ready to work. We researched different areas of school like, specialists, positive rewards and behaviour responses to expected behaviours.

Ms. Reanna and Ms. Angie helped students throughout the day and they even helped Omar G find a new home for a injured lorikeet! 

We assigned our to do list. Mason worked on our specialist program as well as window treatments. Tyler worked on positive rewards for our students, Nader worked on our homework policy, Omar wrote to our principals about Behaviour Reflection Sheets and Malek wrote to persuade our principals to create a space for Food Tech. 

The students hope to present their presentations to leadership soon!

When asked if they would like to be a 'fill in' again they agreed that they would love to!
