It's all happening in the school yard at EPS!

Fences are up!

Early Wednesday morning, as expected, the builders arrived to install safety fencing around the yard. There was plenty of excitement and curiosity as the work is starting to happen. 

For the EPS community, this week is all about adjusting to the changes to the yard space & options for play, lunchtime clubs, activities or going to Windy Hill to kick a ball.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday due to the wet weather, we weren’t able to go to Windy Hill during lunch or recess, but we’re hopeful we’ll get there later in the week.

We felt that the day progressed quite smoothly.

In addition to the new fencing, a couple of generous parents volunteered their time and talents over the weekend to repaint some of the faded images on the concrete areas. It's been wonderful to see those bright colours come back to life, adding a fresh burst of energy to the yard!
